"Cherokee Talking Leaves" Pole Banner Design
Northeastern State University is located in the heart of Cherokee county (Tahlequah, Oklahoma).
Art direction was to encompass leaves and the Cherokee symbols for "Cherokee Talking Leaves,"and NSU's complimentary colors. The 'talking leaves' is in reference to the paper the Cherokee syllabary was written on. Banners were created to commend the Cherokee Indian culture.
